And letting
Earth drench
In tears.
For long months
The day
Star, wept
His sighs
Were heard
Across
Many lands
Making people
Despair
Wishing for
The star
To
Shine again.
Finally,
All the elders
From every
Earth tribe
Requested
The Moon
With the
Sun
To reunite.
Their plea
Was heeded
And the
Moon
Reunited
With her
Love
Then there
Were bright
Days
For months
On end!
Every year,
Though,
The memory
Of the
Heartbreak
Haunts
The Sun
And he weeps
For months
Until the
Moon,
Makes him
See
She won't ever
Again
Break his
Heart and leave!
