With freedom to

Smile and laugh unhindered...

365 days

Bring me these

That I caught up

In these, I may forget 

What was 

And instead 

Revel in what is...

Sprinkle fairy dust 

Over me

That what I wish

In my heart of hearts

Might be real...

For, my wish is 

Ever so child like 

And true...

Flutter fairy wings

Upon my every breath 

That I may

Inhale the goodness alone

Leaving the bad

Aside...

This I believe, is my 

Life's right!

Oh fairies 

So magically beautiful 

Spread your beauty

In these present moments 

Of my life...

That the tormenting fog

May change and be 

Joyful, pretty and a

Delight to live in...

Fairies, in you I 

Truly believe 

Let me not down

Rather grant me the

WITHIN UNSTEADY ARMS 

We cradle life

In our 

Unsteady arms...

Unsteady from tiredness

From hurt and 

Loneliness...

We cradle life and

Watch it grow

Entraced, we wonder

How time

Flows!

With each breath

To life, hope we p

Try to give

Cradling gently 

Precariously 

As we live...

For the world 

Is nasty

Forcing our hand

In doing it's will...

It's tough

Yet we do our best...

We cradle life

Not just the now

Born

But our own

And that of

Our beloved's one...

Life, yes precious life

Stay close to

The heart that loves

And within the

Arms that

Unsteadily cradle you

Yet not once

Letting you l

Fall

Therein remain...!

It's in our

Hearts...

Lurking in the corners

Of our souls...

It's a feeling 

Strong

That only love 

Can overturn!

For, love is joy

Laughter and smiles 

It is the exact

Opposite of what 

Lurks quiet

In the dark recesses

Of our minds...

We fear, fear

And it takes 

Control 

Oh if only

We all knew

That 

Love is

LIVING WITH CEREBRAL PALSY 

Of my condition 

I narely truly complain 

Or talk

But something now

Makes me want to

Open up..

So read me out...

Living the way

I do

Is a challenge 

To say the least 

And am putting it

Politely...

Seriously though 

I am like a

Snail 

In a shell

My mind tells my body

To behave 

But it listens not

Thereby creating 

Physical movements so grave!

I have a voice

And am grateful 

That I can speak

Though

My words are not

Always clear 

To those who hear me...

And my say

I often have 

To repeat...

My heart is alone 

For lack  of companionable 

Love!

Oh she's on a 

Wheelchair 

And dependent fully

So a girlfriend and wife

She cannot be

To me...

This is the 

Reaction I always get

When I stumble across 

A likeable guy...

And my heart 

Breaks

For, let's face it

Am human 

With feelings to testify

That am indeed 

Very alive...

So what then, you 

Ask?

Well, I am told 

To focus

On the talents

I have...

This I do

But the

Lonely snail

That is me

Struggles to win

A battle

Of the 

Heart

While living

With

Cerebral Palsy...!

Unspoken words

And daunting looks

Silently  tears

Fall

As life upon life

Is forever lost...

The earth breathes 

In dire desperation...

The streets 

Are crowded with

Emptiness...

Springs blooms

But does anyone care?

The sky looms

Azure overhead

And birds sing

Who is it that is

Listening?

From within 

A fish bowl

We look out

For our own

Sake and for

The ones 

We love...

With every breath

We must be grateful 

To be alive

Though we miss

Our neighbors...

When shall we 

See and embrace 

Without fear

See the other's face...

Without reserve

Hold hands and kiss?

Yet some

Wilj cling to

Old animosity

Pointlwssly!

The world sighs

And slowly dies

In Faith I hope

The world 

Does survive...!

On the street 

I stood

And the day 

Was bright...

Across from me

I spotted one friend

Then another 

And soon, the entire

Bunch...

We waved to each other 

With big smiles

And glee

No masks hid

Our faces

As we embraced 

And kissed!

We moved on

Singing happy songs 

And soon 

We were by the

The pastry shop

One of many

Open for all...

In we went 

And bought delights

To please our longing 

For sweet treats, chocolate shakes

And fries...

Then we laughed 

As on we walked 

Holding hands, embracing 

No longer stranger friends!

The sun was warm

And bright

Was the reunion

Of the brave

Who had won

And lived through the 

Battle and humanity's 

Biggest fight...

We celebrated and more

Friends joined us

As we sang in 

Happiness  and praise 

Our spirits rose...

Soon we were 

One big people 

Friends in Faith

Having in our

Midst 

The Lord and 

His saving Grace!

We walked  

We danced

We sang on that day...

We aaw life through 

Renewed sight

We gave thanks for 

Living

And being

Alive...

Then, I woke up 

And I knew 

It waa to be

Soon

A dream come true...!
