Joy filled

My heart

As we

Sat

Chatting 

Side by side.

We talked

Of the 

Days

Of wonder 

When I was

Small

And she,

Younger.

I said to

Her

That she 

Hasn't 

Aged

At all,

Still my

Bestie

Cousin.

We continued 

Chatting

With pizza

In our 

Mouths

Recalling

Yester

Days of

Sheer

Delight.

Ah, such

Moments 

Of happiness 

I felt...

I never

Wanted

Her to 

Leave 

But she

Had to

And she

Did.

With a

Promise 

To return

Soon,

I let her

Go...

Oh, such

Glee

After so

Long,

Even 

Time stopped

A little

To enjoy!
