Bright
And warm
When
Little
Mouse
Went out
For a walk.
It wandered
Around
The garden
Singing with
The birds...
Following
The butterflies,
Little Mouse
Went
Along!
It was
Free
And happy...
It roamed
As though
The garden
It owned.
It never
Did see
The yellow-green
Eyes
Watching
It.
What a
Lovely day
Little Mouse
Thought
Before it
Got
Trapped
Under a
Paw
Becoming
Breakfast
Meat.
Poor
Little Mouse
Was
Delicious
In the
Cat's mouth!
