Time.

Setting 

My quill

To parchment,

I began

The task.

Time ticked

By

As I wrote.. 

Tick, tick

I heard 

Time's

Clicking

Heels.

It had

Reached

Near

The designated

End time

As I 

Scribbled

The poetic

Lines.

At last

I was

Done...

The race

I won!
