SLITHERING AWAY
Slithering on
The ground
The snake
Reached
A pair
Of
Dainty feet...
Shall I strike?
It thought
Merely to
Taste fair
Blood...
The feet
Stood
Firm and
Nails shone
Burgundy!
What pretty
Toes, delicate
Veins
Amazing
Legs
Observed
The snake
In admiration...
It slithered
Closer
And still
The feet owner
Showed no
Fear!
Whoa!
The snake
Exclaimed
I believe
I shall have
A taste...
It bit
Once, twice,
Thrice
Losing its fangs...
Ow!
Feet of stone
It whimpered
Never again
For I want
To bite
Such as
These...
So the snake
Slithered
Away
In a snake's
Agony!
